Tacos part 5

If you want to try tacos, the closest flavor to the ones in Mexico. I´d recommend you to go at Rosa Mexicano. The tortillas are the best!!! even in Mexico they will be one of the good ones. The salsas are very very good. The only thing is that it´s a little bit pricey for tacos. When my D.H. and I go, I order the Queso Fundido and serve myself with tacos of cheese and salsa. It´s the closest taco that I´ve try here in Atlanta.
Queso Fundido. The little bowl with the green salsa is my favorite one.

Tacos dorados

Tacos de carnitas. My hubby´s favorites.

Tacos part 4

The worst salsas ever =S
OMG!!! This trying out to find an OK place to eat tacos is getting harder. Who knew that tacos were so difficult to prepare if it´s just tortilla and beef, right?? Anyway... My D.H. found this place on line where it´s supposed to be really good because the tortillas are handmade. It´s named El Rey del Taco. According to Itzelli's scale they were 4, but the salsas were the most horrible salsa that I have ever tried in my life. They will extra charge you if you pick the handmade tortillas. The service wasn´t so good and they will charge you gratuity.

Tacos part 3

One of the "best" tacos that I´ve tried here in Atlanta; you will find them at Taqueria Los Rayos. The tortilla is the Milagro one, so it´s the best Tortilla that you can find here. The are cheap and the taste is ok.  I gave them a 5 according to my scale.

Tacos part 2

Well, that night it wasn't the only place we visited. We went to this place called El Taco Veloz and the service was actually "veloz" or quick, the places is more like a fast food service but using an American approach, which for this food category it is uncommon.

The tortilla was a Banderita style or equivalent, which took out points to the taco, the service wasn't as nice as I would expect but not to subtract points as the taco was already bad.

The taco got a 1 out 5 in the Itzelli scale.

Tacos

After an exhaustive search around Atlanta my hubby and I found some interesting and not so interesting places. We visited two more places one of those is a taqueria in front of the Mercado del Pueblo, and it was horrible. I gave it the lowest point,1. I didn't bother to take a picture.

These ones are from a bar that doesn't look so nice from the outside and actually it doesn't look so nice in the inside, it is over Buford Hwy and the name is La Pastorcita.

The flavor was so nice compared to other places, the price was also cheap but at that time we ran out of cash and the place won't take credit cards. The tortilla was a El Milagro or equivalent which gave a nice texture.

On the Itzelli scale the pastor taco got a 4 out of 5, where 5 is the quality of a delitaco or equivalent metro station at Mexico City.
